Sharon joined our team in May 2011. At Francis Financial, her role as a financial planner is to write and help present financial plans, perform supplemental analyses and establish appropriate strategies to help our clients achieve their goals. Sharon provides ongoing advice to our clients, as it relates to their financial plans, investments or other related financial queries.
Sharon began her career in financial planning in 2004 at Ameriprise Financial in Boston, where she gained the First Year Top Achiever award and became an advisor coach after just six months' training. Following a move to New York City, she joined the Wealth Advisory Practice of James Law, CFP® and Mark Chemtob, CFP®, an Ameriprise Financial franchise in downtown Manhattan. Most recently, Sharon worked for Element Financial Group as their Director of Financial Planning, where she gained extensive experience working with high net worth individuals.
Sharon qualified as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ in 2007. Before embarking on her financial planning career, she obtained her MBA from Bar Ilan University in Israel. Her undergraduate degree is in music performance (cello) from the Royal Academy of Music, London, where she won numerous cello performance prizes and graduated with 1st Class Honors.
Having worked for three years at the UJIA ISRAEL, a non-profit organization that helps immigrants acclimate in Israel, Sharon has a strong affinity for non-profit work. Sharon is inspired not just by the fee-only philosophy embraced by Francis Financial, but by the tremendous contribution Stacy's non-profit organization, Savvy Ladies, makes to our community. |
